A Quiet Hour of Rest
A calm, simple hour to rest and be still. I come to your location, and a quiet room works best. You stay fully clothed, and I do not touch you.
This is a quiet hour of rest for times of tension and worry.
No belief system is required, much like the massage or chiropractic care you may already use.
One simple price
$120 for 60 minutes. The same price for everyone. Cash is welcome.
There is no insurance billing, and nothing is charged through this website.
When I am available
Visits are by appointment, Monday through Saturday, all year.
Winter visitors are welcome December through April.
Closed on Sundays.
Your faith comes first
Your faith and your church come first.
Many Plain families believe God is the healer, and I respect that fully.
You are welcome to pray in your own way during our time together.
I add no prayers, special words, charms, or rituals of my own.
If you would like to speak with your bishop or minister first, please do. There is no hurry.
What the hour is like
- You rest in a chair or lie down, fully clothed.
- I sit or stand quietly nearby. I do not touch you.
- The room stays quiet and still.
- You may stop at any time, for any reason.
- Afterward, you are free to go about your day.
I come to you
I come to your location in the Sarasota area. An office is coming soon. It works best if we can use a quiet room where you can rest without interruption.
Kept private
What we share stays between us. I do not talk about who I visit or what is said, with anyone.
Family is welcome
A husband, wife, parent, or other family member is welcome to sit in for the whole hour. Many people feel more at ease that way, and so do I.
This is not medical care
I do not diagnose, treat, or heal any condition. This hour is for quiet rest only, and it is not a church practice. Please keep seeing your doctor and following their advice.
How to reach me
Most people hear about me from someone they know. Ask a friend who has visited, or take one of my cards.
To set a time, email [email protected]. If you do not use email, a family member or friend is welcome to write for you.
